A trackable QR code points to a redirect URL instead of your destination directly. When someone scans it, the redirect server logs the scan event (timestamp, country, device type) before forwarding them to your destination in under 100 ms. That log data is what appears in your analytics dashboard.
What analytics can I see?
Every trackable QR code logs total scans, unique scans, click-through to destination, top countries, device type breakdown, and a scan-by-day trend chart. Campaign and source attribution is available via UTM parameters passed through to GA4 or Plausible.
Can I use UTM parameters with QR codes?
